Olivier Saut
I am a Directeur de Recherche (Senior Research Scientist) at CNRS, member of the MONC project-team at INRIA Bordeaux Sud-Ouest, and currently Scientific Delegate at CNRS Mathématiques.
My work sits at the intersection of applied mathematics and clinical oncology: I translate biological and therapeutic phenomena into PDE models, statistical models, or neural networks, then calibrate them on clinical and experimental data — with a particular focus on exploiting longitudinal medical imaging to assess anti-cancer treatment efficacy at an early stage.
Keywords: PDE modelling · scientific computing · data assimilation · statistical learning · deep learning · medical image analysis
